What makes waterproof, breathable fabrics like GORE-TEX® or Toray® so unique is the porosity of the fabric - keeping the elements out while letting moisture that builds-up beneath the fabric escape. Regular washing will maintain your gear's original properties.
* Waders and rain gear should be dried after each use, both inside and out. Simms understands that certain situations do not allow for time to fully dry between uses. It is the expectation that this circumstance will contribute to a potential shorter lifespan.
* Breathable fabrics are porous in nature and can collect dirt, oils from the skin and other environmental substances. Regular cleaning of waders is a key contributor to their lifespan.
* Depending on the amount of days used, annual, bi-annual or tri-annual washing is recommended.
* Exposure to salt water or salt air requires special care: The waders must be rinsed thoroughly with fresh water and dried after each use.
* Most waterproof, breathable gear can be machine washed - please refer to the care instructions on the label for full details.
* Ask your Simms retailer for recomendations on re-treating for waterproofness: Typically they carry re-waterproofing treatments like NikWax.

"Great bibs for everyday use even in the harshest conditions. True to size and very comfortable."
— Jeremiah J. (5/5)
"I purchased the bibs and jacket at the same time together they are the best lightweight rain gear I’ve owed. You can wear them comfortably all day and after a rain the outside layer dries really fast shed water really well."
— Michael S. (5/5)
"Too snug even at a size larger"
— Lester J. (3/5)
"Bought a set of bibs and unfortunately they didnt fit, the return process was super quick and easy. I'll be back"
— Joseph T. (5/5)
"These are my second pair of Simms ProDry bibs. First ones definitely served me well over 8 years of tough fishing. . . . but time to replace. These don't have the same measure of Quality as Simms used to put out. . . but trust they may serve almost as well. I'm 6', 183, 32" waist. . . so athletic build. . . MED fit perfect!"
— Jim D. (5/5)
"Kinda in the middle with this purchase… the bibs’ new shoulder padded design seems great, but eventually you’ll find they get wrapped and stuck on the adjuster cinch pieces on each side, and eventually bunch up under them, causing major discomfort. Then we move down to the crotch area and unlike the older pro-dry bib designs that had DUAL zippers (allowing convenient potty breaks), we find that these new design bibs only have a SINGLE one-way zipper function that only open and close from the bottom to top. Leaving you NO choice but to fully unzip the bib if need to go to the bathroom…. . and in a boat style of fishery that we’re using these for, and in a marine zone which always requires layered clothing under and over the bibs to stay warm, this zipper function becomes VERY hassle oriented and is not user friendly at all. A big fail kinda here. On the flip, these are by far the best color options Simms has chosen to put out yet- the brown is extremely pleasant on the eyes and blends perfectly in with the PNW way of life and the fishing minded angler. If the knees were padded a bit more, and the zipper functions improved like old, and the new padded shoulder straps modified, these would be a KNOCK outta the park for Simms. Some improvements are needed imo. But only fish 250 to 300 days a year…. Sooooo, hmmmm. What do I know lol (I’m a bit particular Proly)"
— Bill J. (3/5)
"I’m very satisfied with my purchase. These are a new and improved version of pro dry fishing bib. The design team nailed it this time. Excellent product."
— Curtis B. (5/5)
"For the life of me I can’t understand how a $700 bib doesn’t have an adjustable waist 🙄. Simms is great and it keeps you dry, but for the crazy amount of money add some Velcro or something to the waist, too loose."
— Eric R. (3/5)
"The bibs exceed all expectations. They cut the wind and rain. I was very impressed with the fast shipping."
— Daniel J. (5/5)
"Best bibs on the market, hands down!"
