Definitely does NOT Float!

"Beware is net does NOT float...I started testing nets along time ago in shallow water to see if they float....the alternative is learning the hard way( which I have done once or twice)..Handle is also quite slick ...should have some texture to give it a better grip...otherwise...I like this net."

Great boat net

"It is a big beefy net, perfect for the drift boat. Perfect for reaching fish at the front or back of the boat from the rowers bench."

— Austin K. (5/5)

Nice boat net

"Long handle boat net! Looks sharp! Breaks down for safe storage in locked under seat storage."

— Chris R. (5/5)

Floppy Bag

"I decided to give this one a shot since Fishpond nets weren't available at the time when I needed to replace my old Rising Boat Net. These three nets are at about the same price point so I figured Simms must've copied what they're doing right and made one of their own. This is not like the others. I am going to replace this net because the bag is too floppy. The bottom of the bag flips over and onto of itself on the top of the hoop so often it's infuriating. It turns itself into a little trampoline. I don't need this extra step to flip it back over while trying to land a client's fish. Plus the rubber coated fabric bag catches a lot of flies. Bag is also too deep, fish get lost down there. I've had it for a year and I've been putting up with it until I could afford a net with a normal depth a thicker, stiffer rubber."

Solid boat net

"Good length for using in the boat and webbing is perfect for not getting flies stuck and easy on the fish. Very sturdy and durable. Only negative is it is a heavy net to handle one handed when landing a fish alone but long handle helps."

— Greg g. (4/5)

Trout net.

"Easy to use. Wish it had a little longer handle for netting trout out of the boat. But overall a good catch and release net."

— Thomas j. (5/5)

Spectacular net!!

"The ideal length for handling a large fish from the boat. A good net with excellent capacity. It's incredible!"

— Pedro F. (5/5)

Net

"The extra length definitely helps when clients are having a hard time getting the fish close to the boat, but definitely takes up a lot of space in the truck"

— Chris C. (4/5)
