An homage to our Montana heritage, the rugged Cardwell Hooded Jacket packs premium insulated warmth and comfort into a durable, go-anywhere look that rises to the occasion — in any and all conditions.
- The exterior shell is built from a nylon elastane blend, woven into a stretchy canvas. Chunky baffles house PrimaLoft® insulation to provide maximum warmth.
- Quilted hood with high collar and rubber-coated, snap front closure.
- Dual Metalluxe® zippered chest pockets, dual handwarmer pockets, and interior zippered left pocket for essentials.
- Sleeves lined with taffeta for smooth on and off, and rubber-coated snap closure cuffs.
- Finished with a straight hem.
FABRIC TECH:
Body - 90% nylon, 10% elastane 4-way stretch, 237 gsm with PFC-Free DWR.
Lining - 30D 100% recycled polyester taffeta, 47 gsm with DWR.
Insulation - PrimaLoft® Black Eco insulation, 133g in body / 133g in sleeves.

Sizing is wrong
"Jacket is way too large, the hood doesn’t have drawstrings and they won’t take a return. Terrible customer service and terrible first product I have bought from simms"
It does run big in M as well
"Great purchase at sale price, no question. My only complaints are minor. I'm 5'9", a medium is usually right on the money for me. It's an inch long in the arms, and slightly large overall, and the shoulders seem slightly tight but only when putting it on. Very well designed, I still really like it but it not having the drawstring to tighten the bottom is something I didn't know how much I liked until I didn't have it."

"Whoever yall used to ship the product took the jacket to the wrong place. It took me calling three times to get anyone to respond. That was over a week ago and that guy hasn’t gotten back to me. I love Simms products but the service has not been something to brag about."

"Getting this jacket on sale feels like highway robbery. I was hesitant about the color scheme at first, because it would have been my second choice to the darker color. However, I am actually now glad that this was the color scheme on sale as the color is a wonderful Fall color and the bronze liner is a welcome compliment. The jacket itself FEELS quality. I can definitely appreciate the material and craftsmanship put into the jacket from the moment I pick it up and then slip it over my torso. I cannot wait to wear it for an extended period of time when I am out catching trout or just lounging around the campfire. Simms hit it out of the park with this jacket and the sale was very much appreciated for someone who doesn’t roll in dough."
