"Just got back from a trip to SE AK for coho. The access boot performed well hiking up small rivers. They are light in weight 👍 One thing I noticed though, was they easily got filled with sand, even though I was using my gravel guards. I had to take them off a couple times and rinse them out. Otherwise, I liked the boot a lot."
"They need a built in cling system. Sims aftermarket cleats don’t stay in. I even watched tutorial. 50% of them fell out within 5 trips. Otherwise there are comfortable and light weight. I just wouldn’t recommend in rivers with smooth rocks and stronger currents."
"I spoke with Will in Customer Service two times on the phone. He was very patient and knowledgeable, and we eventually ended up on the Access boots. I just got back from Alaska and couldn't have been any happier with the Access boots. I normally wear a size 9 wading boot, but with thick neoprene booties in my waders and thick socks, I went with a 10. There was a little extra room, and I was glad to have it. A big thanks to Will at Simms!"
"So far so good. Grip is good and the boot is light weight but with good support. fish a rocky stream. Hope all the seams hold up"
"Best Simms boot ever. Great wading traction and light weight. Built for the angler on the go."
"Great shoes for wading, solid grip on rocks. Drains well. Unfortunately the sewn on loop for the guide socks to clip on to tore off the left shoe. It’s not a big deal to me, because the waders I use with the shoes doesn’t have that clip. But it does make me wonder about the long term quality."
"These are great and bridge the gap on needing to walk a mile or 2 to the best fishing spots//"
"Fit well, true to size. Comfortable out of the box."
"I was looking for a light and durable wading boot that could withstand a lot of wading in the coral reefs of the French Polynesian Islands. Not only did it hold up with no wear and tear but the comfort was notable especially after wading all day. I am presently wearing them on my guided trips in the harsh saltwater of the Texas Coast and they continue to hold up well. The lightness of the boot continues to be my favorite feature. Another great feature about these boots is that they drain well and is made of quality materials."
"Perfect gift"
