Salmon River Great Lakes Steelie
Great Lakes Angler field editor Brian Kelley poses with a dark Great Lakes steelie he caught recently on the Salmon River in Altmar, NY. Its size was guestimated in the "mid-teens" which is pounds, not inches. Brian is dressed in warm steelhead Simms gear including his Exstream Bootfoots and a WINDSTOPPER® Softshell Hoody that has quickly become one of his favorite pieces of outerwear.
